• International meetings/phone conferencing:
The ESA has been successfully conducting monthly phone
conference meetings for the past year and we would like
to share our success with our national and international
peers. There is now technology to allow all of us across
the world to conference together! We are also trying
to implement web-meetings using a similar service.
Maintaining personal contact is so important in these
exciting times. We would like to suggest at least a
yearly remote conference, if for nothing else, but to
say hello and combine our energies towards moving forward.
Let us know and we could start planning one for this
year or the next. By the way, this is IN NO WAY intended
to replace any other conferencing like the World Conference.
Real face-to-face meetings are invaluable, but for those
in-between times digital contact can be a great assist.
ï As a reminder - any SHP - past or present
- or ESA member can request to be put on the agenda
for the monthly meetings. These meetings are generally
held at 7:30 PST on the first Tuesday of the month.
• Recert: Two recertification times and places
are being circulated, one in Palmsdale, California and
the other in Guthrie Oklahoma. The Palmsdale site is
available for seminar space and the Guthrie Oklahoma
site will have the added benefit of having videographers,
still photographers and an x-ray machine available to
do some well-needed documentation for personal and official
use.
